# Free tier

> What a free 0xArchive key includes: every route and market, the most recent 30 days of history, 50,000 credits a month, and when to upgrade.

Every new account starts on Free, with no card required. A Free key reaches every route, market and data type except one, the live [`mempool`](/websocket/mempool) channel, with the most recent 30 days of history and 50,000 credits a month, so you can build and test an integration before you pay for volume.

## What Free includes

| Limit | Free |
| - | - |
| Monthly credits | 50,000 |
| Request rate | 15 rps |
| Concurrent queries | 3 |
| API keys | 1 |
| Archive coverage and request span | Most recent rolling 30 days; maximum 30-day span per request or replay |
| WebSocket | 10 subscriptions, 2 connections, 10x standard replay |
| Mempool channel | Not included; the live `mempool` channel comes with the Pro, Scale and Enterprise plans |
| Webhooks | Not available; the estimate and dry-run previews still answer, so a rule can be built and sized here |
| Markets | Full catalog access across Hyperliquid core, Spot, HIP-3, HIP-4, and Lighter, subject to route and symbol coverage |
| Schemas | Full catalog access where each schema applies: Hyperliquid L4, Lighter L3, and family-specific L2, order-flow, and TP/SL routes |

Free includes every market, route, schema and served depth: Hyperliquid families expose L4 where covered, and Lighter exposes L3. Plans differ in capacity and in Free's 30-day history window, not in which routes or schemas you can call. A Free request or replay must fall inside the most recent rolling 30 days and span at most 30 days; older history is out of range on Free. On any plan, a request also depends on what is stored for the selected symbol and schema.

## Get started on Free

<Steps>
  <Step title="Create a key">
    Create a key in the [dashboard](https://0xarchive.io/dashboard) and keep it in an environment variable or secret store. See [API keys](/authentication).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Make your first request">
    Follow the [Quickstart](/quickstart) and confirm `success`, `data` and `meta.request_id` in the response.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Move to the route your job needs">
    Check the market type and symbol on [Venue coverage](/venue-coverage), then call that route for a window inside the last 30 days.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Check quality and limits before looping">
    Check freshness and coverage on [Data quality](/data-quality), and size the loop to Free's request rate, concurrency and credits on [Rate limits](/rate-limits).
  </Step>
</Steps>

Free does not grant raw-data redistribution rights. Commercial and customer-facing use is permitted when materially transformed without source-record exposure or reconstruction; benchmarks, indices, financial products, standalone or substitute feeds, raw redistribution, and white-label or OEM delivery require written permission. See [Data rights](/data-rights).

## When to upgrade

Move to a paid plan when a job needs history older than the most recent 30 days, more monthly credits, a higher request rate, more concurrent queries, faster standard replay, larger Data Catalog exports, [Webhook Alerts](/webhooks) delivered to a receiver of your own, or the live [`mempool`](/websocket/mempool) channel, which comes with Pro, Scale and Enterprise. Build and above keep the full retained archive. Compare plans on [Rate limits](/rate-limits).

## Next step

Make your first authenticated request with the [Quickstart](/quickstart).
